PROJECT IDEA: Determine waysNorth Caroliniansimpact the environment of the 3 regions through daily interaction with the land.
GENERAL CONTENT: There are three distinct regions ofNorth Carolinathat are affected by the unique industries and land uses.
DRIVING QUESTION: How has the land and environment influenced the regions of NC?
MAJOR PRODUCTS: In conjunction with Grandparents Day, students will interview older people about how the environment has changed since they were children.
Students will use technology to locate before and after photographs of landforms in their region. They will make a pictorial representation depicting how the land or environment has changed.
*Groups will represent the three regions: As a legislator representing a region of the state, you have to write a bill proposal explaining the next steps necessary to protect the land from changing more than it has already.
